Treat your guests and yourself to sweet pleasures for any occasion. These tips from b.sweets are easy, fun and festive!
Smores
Take one pillow talk melt-in-your-mouth marshmallow™ and cut in half. Place in microwave for 20 seconds. Remove and place segments on one Crackin’ Up classic graham™. You can enjoy these smores like this or top with another Crackin’ Up for a mega treat!
Heavenly Hot Coco
Simply take two pillow talk melt-in-your mouth marshmallows and quarter or slice in half. Insert sections into an over-sized cup of your favorite steaming hot chocolate. Invite over your best girlfriends and indulge. This combination is blissful!
Brownies with a sweet crunch
Make your brownies with the recipe of your choice. When there is 10 minutes left in your baking time, sprinkle the top of your brownies with Crackin’ Up, Nutty Moment™, or Positively Twisted™ pieces. You will need approx. 2-3 pieces of candy for a 9x13 pan of brownies. For a dreamy brownie treat, cut 3 pillow talks into 6 pieces and sprinkle on brownies when there is 10 minutes remaining in baking time, plus cover with foil to prevent marshmallows from burning.
Smoothie Fun
Make a fruit smoothie or milkshake of your choice. Prior to filling your glass, dip the rim into the smoothie/milkshake and then roll rim in Crackin’ Up or Nutty Moment pieces placed on a small plate. Fill glass as normal and hit your sweet spot while quenching your thirst. Kids love this and can even help in the preparation!
Martini Fun
Crackin’ Up pieces make a great rim to decadent chocolate or key lime martinis. For chocolate martinis, dip the rim in a bowl of chocolate sauce and then roll in b.sweets candy pieces. Substitute milk or cream for key lime martinis.
Pillow Talk Fruit Skewers
Add some fluff to typical fruit skewers! Cut pillow talk melt-in-your mouth marshmallows in half with a sharp knife. Slice pieces of fruit such as bananas, strawberries and pineapple and place on skewer alternating between 2 pieces of fruit and then a marshmallow segment. If no skewers are to be found, top each half of a pillow talk with a fruit section and indulge.
For a festive garnish, cut pillow talk melt-in-your-mouth marshmallows in half and drizzle each half with créme de menthe liquer.
Depending on your climate during the holiday season, frozen treats can also be fun….
Crackin’ Up Ice Cream Sandwiches
1 large scoop of ice cream or frozen yogurt of choice, softened
2 grahams
Spread ice cream on one graham and then top with remaining graham. Place on plate or cookie sheet lined with wax paper. Place in freezer for 30 min. Remove and enjoy!
Creamy, Dreamy Nutty Moment
Take two scoops of your favorite vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt, place on a board that's been chilled for at least an hour, place two Nutty Moments peanut butter crunch bars in the center and mix by folding together until combined. If desired, add chocolate sauce.
*Nutty Moment peanut butter crunch bars, Crackin’ Up classic grahams, and Positively Twisted crispy salted pretzel pieces make great sundae toppings too!
NOTE: It is very easy to break up the candy items, with the exception of the pillow talks, in a blender or food processor. The best way is to pulse on the lightest speed for 5-10 seconds depending on how big you want your candy pieces. It is best to break no more than 2 pieces at a time. For bigger candy pieces, break candy in half and place in zip lock bag. Take a rolling pill and roll over candy a few times. This yields larger candy pieces than you would get from your food processor or blender
